Susan has been a speech-language pathologist for more than 45 years. She has specialized in AAC (Augmentative-Alternative Communication); predominantly with children with ASD, and in working with students with significant language learning disorders.
Susan has worked in a wide variety of settings; including public and nonpublic schools, group homes, non-profit organization, and her own private practice. She has published research in peer-reviewed professional journals, and has served as both Director of Education and Director of Communication.
